The Holiday Rush

The Holiday Rush

It seems every year that we try to get clients to start thinking about their holiday parties early. Each year it is the same story….they wait until the last minute. Here are a few tips for those planning a holiday party:

  1. Book early! – Dates often book up fast, so the sooner you have a date locked down with a venue and vendors the better
  2. Summer time is the best time to plan! This goes for most events, but the summer is always slower in the event industry. If you really want your vendor’s full attention and dedication to creative ideas, that is the best time to reach out to them! The reality is that most people wait until October or November, when we are smack in the middle of gala season and we don’t have the time to deal.
  3. Go for an unconventional theme! Holiday trees, red and green, and ice are always so popular this time of year, that inventory does run out. Go with something more unique like a western inspired Christmas, or classy black and gold for a more modern Holiday style.
